Whilst in lockdown, stuck indoors, I bet we have all been dreaming about laying on a beach or swimming in a pool, enjoying the sunshine and a couple of cocktails. I thought that today I would share with you my five dream destinations that I would love to visit before I die.
Canada
Steve’s grandfather was from Canada and we’re keen to visit soon. Steve actually visited when he was a baby but of course, he doesn’t remember anything about that trip so it would be lovely to visit as a family and see where Steve’s family came from. Steve also has family friends out there so it would be great to check in with them too.
We’d definitely be doing a road trip and trying to see as much of the country as possible. Plus who wouldn’t want to visit Niagara Falls, right?
New Zealand
My cousin moved out to New Zealand in 2004 and has never been happier. From what I have seen, it is a wonderful and beautiful country and I’d love the chance to explore it for myself whilst also catching up with my cousin and his family for the first time in about ten years.
Iceland
Hopefully this will be happening next year but this is a country I have always wanted to visit and luckily Steve has too. It is a fascinating country to me and I would love the opportunity to see the Northern Lights for myself.
I mentioned in this post about our Iceland plans so fingers crossed we manage to get there next year instead.
The Maldives
Who wouldn’t want to visit The Maldives? All the photos I see make the wanderlust even greater, they are so beautiful. The bright blue seas, plenty of time to relax- who wouldn’t want that?
Greece
My aunt lived in Greece in her twenties and said it was such an amazing country. I love Greek history so would love nothing more than visiting the country and checking out historical and cultural landmarks with the family. Steve is also a big fan of Greek history so would enjoy the holiday too.
What is your dream holiday destination? I loved reading about Laura’s dream ski holiday! One day I would love to go glamping too!
